Saturday, May 30th, 2009When accounts payable become due to vendors, cash is transferred to the vendors in the form of checks or electronic transfers to the vendor bank accounts. Accounts payable and cash accounts are updated for these transfers. The system permits appropriate personnel to determine the amount of each inventory item available, the cost of these items, and amounts owed to each vendor.
